I am a creator of graphic experiences based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Of European origins. Born and raised in Cote d’Ivoire, Africa. Who has lived in North America. And traveled over 45 countries. These multiple cultural influences pollinate my creative journey.

I am fascinated by the naturalness and intimacy of drawing. My creations never start with a clear picture in mind. Instead, curbs, shapes and colours seemingly instruct my hand, as if by a force of their own. I also love how drawing transcends the limitations of spoken words. Look for example at the creations of prehistoric artists. Despite the thousands of years that separate us from those ancestors, the beauty of their drawings still summons powerful emotions. And connects us with other human beings across time, space and cultures.

Every piece requires months of attentive and assiduous work, layer by layer, detail by detail. A focus briefly interrupted when I pause to spontaneously decide the way forward. An iterative process that gradually leads to the final result.

What my drawings mean or represent
I consider every interpretation to be personal. My creations originate from the land of dreams. In that universe, intuition guides creation, free from the normative limitations of ‘rational’ explanations and classifications. Every drawing generates an intimate emotional alchemy.

Consequently, I invite you to interpret my work through the prism of your own sensitivity. May it bring you joy and energy, by connecting you, beyond what is visible, to the exhilarating freedom of dreams and possibilities.
